All directors appointed on or before 31 October 2021 must apply for a Director Identification Number (director ID) by 30 November 2022 or risk facing serious penalties. Intending new directors must apply for a director ID before being appointed.

Penalties may apply if directors do not apply on time ($13,200 criminal; $1,100,000 civil).
